Feel the rhythm!
We start our drum students out by learning the fundamentals of rudiments and the basic hand control needed to play the drums. After the student has grasped the fundamentals, we move on to the drumkit and work on limb independence and drum set work learning fills, grooves and playing as part of a group.
Meet Our Drum Instructor
Josh English
DRUM INSTRUCTOR
Josh is a highly sought after touring and session drummer based in Buffalo, New York. He currently plays with the award winning rock band Grosh, and has played and recorded with dozens of artists in and out of the U.S.
With over a decade of professional experience in the music industry, Josh is well known for his hard hitting, high energy drumming. He’s a great fit for beginners and intermediate players, and will help you discover your voice on the drum set.

We have pianos and drums on location. Students must have their own instruments for all other lesson types.

No, we only offer lessons in-person.

We begin enrollment at ages 7 or older. For students ages 5 and 6, we ask that you reach out to us about scheduling a free assessment lesson to see if the student is ready to begin lessons.

There is a one time, non-refundable registration fee of $30 per student due at the time registration. Tuition is $119 per month for 30 minutes lessons per student. First month's payment is due at time of registration. Boulevard Music Lessons reserves the right to remove any student from the schedule and collect any fees associated with late payment.

We offer one makeup per month due to absence. We require 24 hours notice to be eligible for a makeup lesson. On months where the student would receive five lessons in a month due to there being five weeks, we don’t offer a makeup for the first absence.

It is at the teacher’s discretion to end a lesson early due to any student misbehavior. Any student arriving 15 minutes late or later will not be given a lesson.
