Rock Band 101

Rock Band 101 gives students the experience of playing in a group with live performances throughout the year.

Rock Band 101 places students together along with a Band Coach. Once they are ready, the band gets to perform at our recitals throughout the year. All of our students have the opportunity to perform at recitals. We believe that live performance is the culminating reward for any aspiring musician.

Our Rock Band 101 directors specialize in working with younger students and they typically play along with the kids. We keep the program fun, allowing students to pick the tunes they want to play, so our curriculum is a mix of current popular music and classic rock standards.

The program culminates with a real performance in a local music venue, where students get to perform on stage with their classmates.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We have piano, drums and amps on location. Members would need to bring in all other instruments.

  • Rock Band students are required to take lessons with us. The cost for both weekly half hour lessons and the Rock Band program is $218 a month.

  • All lessons are held at our location at 1090 Niagara Falls Blvd., Tonawanda, NY 14150.

  • Students perform at our recitals throughout the year at local music venues throughout the area.

  • Answer Needed

  • There is a one time, non-refundable registration fee of $30 per student due at the time registration. Tuition is $218 per student. First month's payment is due at time of registration. Boulevard Music Lessons reserves the right to remove any student from the schedule and collect any fees associated with late payment.

  • For lessons, we offer one makeup per month due to absence. 24 hours notice is required to be eligible for a makeup lesson. In months where the student would receive five lessons in a month due to there being 5 weeks, we don’t offer a makeup for the first absence.

    There are no makeups for Rock Band practices.

  • It is at the teacher’s discretion to end a lesson early due to any student misbehavior. Any student arriving 15 minutes late or later will not be given a lesson.
